Step By Step

• Making provisional teeth. Isolate areas of the preparation with Vaseline or similar lubricant.
• Making provisional teeth. Fit the self mixing tip. Before each application, a small amount of the product must be dispensed in a container. This ensures that the product to be applied will be correctly homogenized.
• Making provisional teeth. Apply the product to the mold first in the occlusal/incisor portion and then in the cervical portion, maintaining the self-mixing tip immersed in the material in order to avoid the formation of bubbles. Position the mold in the parepared teeth within 40 seconds after starting the product mix and keep it in position.
• Making provisional teeth. Remove the mold during the elastic phase of the material, approximately 2 to 3 minutes after the start of mixing.
• Making provisional teeth. Wait for the material to completely polymerize ( approximately 5 minutes). Remove the provisional from the mold and clean its surface with alcohol to remove the oxygen-inhibited resin layer.

Adjustments, when necessary, can be made through the careful removal of excesses with diamond tips for finishing and polishing of composite resin (fine and extra fine grits). Polishing can be performed with rubber or abrasive disks of medium and fine grits, Diamond (FGM) or Diamond Flex (FGM) felt disks and Diamond Excel (FGM) polishing paste.”
