Benefits

Double Desensitizing Action:
Neural action of potassium nitrate and occlusive sodium fluoride. Potassium nitrate is an effective agent in the treatment of hyperesthetic dentin. Its action is based on the fact that the increased concentration of extracellular potassium depolarizes the membranes of nerve fibers, blocking the passage of the stimulus, reducing hypersensitivity.
Excellent viscosity:
Does not run off the tray.
High Yield:
Each syringe of 3g yields up to 9 applications.
Recommended wearing time:
– 10% and 16%: 3 to 4 hours or overnight use.- 22%: 1 hour.

Recommendations

  • Whiteness Perfect is indicated for bleaching vital teeth using the technique of bleaching at home supervised by a dental surgeon.
  • The product bleaches teeth darkened by age and naturally dark or yellow, and teeth stained by external pigments, such as coffee, tobacco, tea, etc.

Step By Step

Step 1
Take the shade so that the dentist and the patient can have a comparison
parameter for the whitening. Shade taking can be done using a shade guide or a photograph.

Step 2
Molding: molding can be made with alginate and must properly copy all teeth
that will be whitened.

Step 3
Mold is made of stone-gypsum, in order to prevent bubbles. It is not necessary to
relief the model to create gel shells.

Step 4
Place the Imm acetate plate Whiteness Plates for Molds (FGM) into the thermal
laminator until forming a slight bending due to the heat. Then, pull the plastic-
state plate over the gypsum model, so the suction can thermal format the mold
into the model. The plate’s removal must be made after it has fully cooled down.

Step 5
After removing the mold from the model, trim it to cover 1 to 2mm of the gums margin.

Step 6
Model test: the mold should not compress the soft tissue, nor present excessive gaps.

Step 7
Show to the patient the quantity of gel that should be applied to the tray. One
drop of gel must be put into the areas corresponding to the vestibular faces of
the teeth that will be whitened. Usage time: 3 to 4 hours per day for
concentrations between 10 and 16%, and 1 hour per day for 22% concentration.

Step 8
The regular consultations of the patient  should be scheduled on weekly basis,
until completing the treatment. Record the final shade achieved.
