Description

Allcem Veneer APS FGM is a light-cure resin cement specifically designed for the adhesive cementation of ceramic veneers and highly aesthetic restorations. Dentists prefer this veneer cement because it delivers excellent shade stability, reliable bonding, and predictable aesthetic outcomes.

Moreover, the material incorporates APS (Advanced Polymerization System) technology, which minimizes shade variation before and after curing. As a result, clinicians can achieve consistent aesthetic results without unexpected color changes during polymerization.

In addition, the cement offers extended working time under ambient light, therefore allowing precise positioning of veneers before curing. This feature improves clinical control, especially during multiple veneer placements where accuracy is critical.

Another important advantage involves its excellent viscosity and handling. The material flows smoothly, which ensures easy application and uniform film thickness. Consequently, dentists can achieve optimal seating of veneers with minimal effort.

Furthermore, Allcem Veneer APS demonstrates high radiopacity, which supports post-operative radiographic evaluation. At the same time, its fluorescence mimics natural tooth structure, therefore enhancing the overall aesthetic integration of restorations.

Because of its superior mechanical properties, the cement provides durable and long-lasting adhesion. It works effectively with ceramic and composite restorations that allow light transmission, making it ideal for thin veneers and highly translucent prosthetic work.

Overall, Allcem Veneer APS FGM delivers a combination of aesthetic precision, clinical efficiency, and reliable bonding performance, making it an essential material for modern cosmetic dentistry.

Clinical Indications

  • Cementation of ceramic veneers
  • Cementation of composite veneers
  • Adhesive bonding of highly aesthetic restorations
  • Restorations with high translucency allowing light curing
  • Thin restorations requiring precise shade control

Allcem Veneer APS FGM Application Steps

  • Ensure the tooth surface and restoration are clean and free from contaminants
  • Perform relative or absolute isolation depending on the clinical situation
  • Use retraction cords if margins extend subgingivally
  • Etch enamel and/or dentin with phosphoric acid (Condac 37 FGM), rinse and gently dry
  • Etch the internal surface of the veneer using hydrofluoric acid (Condac Porcelana 10% FGM) as per manufacturer instructions
  • Apply silane (Prosil FGM) to the restoration and allow it to react for 1 minute
  • Apply adhesive to the restoration according to manufacturer guidelines without light curing
  • Apply a thin layer of cement to the internal surface of the veneer
  • Seat the veneer with gentle pressure and remove excess cement using a brush or probe
  • Apply glycerin gel at the margins to prevent oxygen inhibition
  • Light cure each surface (mesial, distal, cervical, and facial) for 40 seconds
  • Finish and polish using discs, strips, and polishing systems such as Diamond Pro and Diamond Excel
