Recommendations

Fluoridation of the enamel of patients with high-risk of caries, including patients with special and orthodontic needs, patients submitted to periodontal scraping and cases of dentin hypersensitivity.

Step By Step

• Perform prior professional Prophylaxis with pumice and water or prophy paste.
• Place the patient in an upright Position to reduce the risk of swallowing the product and insert the suction device to remove excess saliva.
• Dry the teeth with air jets before application to avoid product dilution.
• Fill the tray to approximately 1/3 of its volume with fluoride care. Insert the tray into the patient’s mouth so that the product is in contact with all teeth and interproximal spaces, and leave it in place for 1 minute.
• Remove the tray, remove excess fluor Care and instruct the patient to expel the residues into the spittoon to keep from swallowing the product.
• Instruct the patient not to eat, drink or rinse the mouth during the 30 minutes after application.
• Move soft tissue out of the way with the help of a lip retractor (Arcflex –FGM).
• Perform prior professional prophylaxis with pumice and water or prophy paste.
• Place the patient in an upright position to reduce the risk of swallowing the product and insert the suction device to remove excess saliva.
• Dry the teeth with air jets before application to avoid product dilution.
• Apply Flúor Care with a disposable brush or spatula and let it work for 1 minute. Next, remove the excess Flúor Care. Instruct the patient to expel the residues into the spittoon to keep from swallowing the product.
• Instruct the patient not to eat, drink or rinse the mouth during the first 30 minutes after application.
