Description
Benefits
Self-leveling:
It allows a perfect adaptation of the material to the walls of the preparation.
Smart thixotropy:
Antigravity action: perfect application to superior teeth.
Mechanical resistance:
With approximately 68% of mass fillers, the composite shows enough mechanical strength to be used under direct restorations. It should be coated with a dense-consistency composite.
Stability under ambient light:
Provides longer working time.
Curing depth:
Can be inserted in increments up to 4mm deep.
Compatibility:
With all classes of adhesives and methacrylate-based composites.
Recommendations
- Basis of posterior restoration (class I and class II). Liner under direct restorative materials. Regularization/planification of the cavity preparation walls. Repair of small enamel defects. Repair of temporary materials in acrylic and composite.

Step By Step
- Prepare the cavity and maintain the tooth free from contaminants, preferably with absolute isolation.
- The application of phosphoric acid and dental adhesive must follow the protocol of the respective products used.
- Apply Opus Bulk Fill Flow APS into the cavity in 4mm increments. Start by applying the composite to the deeper zones of the preparation, dispensing the material so that the applicator tip is close or briefly above the layer that is being applied. We do not recommend submersing the applicator tip into the composite during insertion.
- Light cure each increment for 20 seconds.
- Fill the cavity preparation until there is 2mm or more left to the occlusal surface (cavosurface). This last layer should be restored with conventional composite or Opus Bulk Fill APS (FGM), which allows sculpting and catering to the masticatory mechanical demands. Light cure according to the manufacturer’s
recommendations. - Check for occlusal contacts, finish and polish the restoration. For finishing, you may use sandpaper disks Diamond Pro (FGM) or burs of fine grit. For polishing, we recommend using felt disks Diamond Flex (FGM) and polishing paste Diamond Excel (FGM).
