Description
Benefits
Versatility:
Available in two phases, peroxide and thickener, it allows for the manipulation of just the necessary amount of the product. It can be used for a single tooth or a whole arch, avoiding waste of material.
Excellent yield:
The complete kit allows for 18 applications.
Intense carmine color:
It facilitates the visualization of the application area; the product becomes colorless at the end of the whitening process.
Recommendations
In-office whitening of vital and non-vital teeth.
Step by Step

Step 1Â
Perform teeth prophylaxis leaving the dental surface to be whitened free of biofilm. Selected and register the patient’s teeth shade with a shade guide or photograph before starting the treatment.

Step 2Â
Proceed to the insertion of Arcflex (FGM) lip retractor to facilitate access and handling of the buccal cavity and then apply Desensibilize KF 2% for 10 minutes on the teeth that will be whitened.”

Step 3Â
After desensitization, remove the gel and dry teeth and gums with air jets. Perform relative isolation by applying the light-curing gingival barrier Top dam (FGM).

Step 4Â
Using the mixing plate that comes with the kit, mix the peroxide phase (phase 1) with the thickener phase (phase 2) in the ratio of 3 drops of peroxide to 1 drop of thickener. The mixture of 3 drops of peroxide to 1 drop of thickener is sufficient for an application on a tooth. For a smile line (20 teeth), generally 18 drops of peroxide for 6 drops of thickener are sufficient. Shake the thickener bottle vigorously before using it so that its contents are homogenized. Failure to homogenize the thickener can result in a low-viscosity gel (insufficient viscosity).

Step 5Â
Apply the gel with a spatula to the teeth to be whitened, usually from 1° or 2° premolar to the other. Cover the buccal surface of the teeth with a thinner gel layer as possible. The gel coating can be extended to the small area of the incisal / occlusal surface of the teeth. At the end of the recommended time, aspirate the gel with a fine suction cannula and clean them with gauze to make them ready to receive a new portion of gel. Repeat steps 4 through 6 for up to two more times (maximum) in the same session, if necessary according to the evolution of results and monitoring of sensitivity.

Step 6Â
At the end of the session, aspirate the gel with a fine suction cannula and wash the teeth thoroughly. The removal of the gingival barrier can be done with an explorer probe or similar.
