Opus Bulk Fill Flow Application Steps

1. Prepare the cavity and maintain proper isolation to keep the tooth free from contaminants.

2. Apply phosphoric acid and dental adhesive according to the protocol of the selected bonding system.

3. Dispense the composite into the cavity in increments up to 4 mm. Start from the deeper portion of the preparation while keeping the applicator tip close to the material surface.

4. Avoid immersing the applicator tip into the composite during placement to prevent air entrapment.

5. Light cure each increment for 20 seconds according to the curing light manufacturer’s instructions.

6. Leave approximately 2 mm of space toward the occlusal surface for a final layer of conventional composite or sculptable bulk-fill composite.

7. Apply the final restorative layer and cure according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

8. Finally check occlusal contacts and complete finishing and polishing using appropriate discs, burs, or polishing systems.
